A few days back I was in Chennai to attend the marriage of my former Module Leader at my previous employer. The marriage, however, was just an excuse to be in Chennai with my friends and other well wishers. And I thought, what better way to spend some quality time with those special friends in the wonderful setting of The Wang’s Kitchen, a restaurant that specializes in mouth watering Chinese delicacies. In fact, the plan to be there was formed long before I set my foot on the Tamil land.

Food has been always been my foible and that too Chinese food. If I were the heir apparent to all the richness in the world and if ever a time comes wherein I will have to barter the richness for some delectable Chicken Clear Soup, a plate of spicy Chicken Lollipop and a bowl of tangy red Schezuan Noodles, I would most probably go with the transaction with utmost happiness and/or without the slightest hint of hesitation. Knowing very well my weakness and to capitalize on it fully was my dear ‘brother in arm’ Mahesh Bhat- Bhatta for short, and the protagonist of this website.

Where on the spectrum do you place your blog?

Going through my RSS feeds in my ThunderBird client for some of the old items, I found a very interesting article by Stuart Brown at Modern Life Rubbish. Also according to the statistical writeup he had linked to the Technorati page about 35 million blogs were tracked by Technorati and the numbers were doubling every 6 months. About few month later, from an independent statistics, Blog Herald stated that the blog count had gone up to 70 million.
