Back to blogshpere
November 4th, 2006 — VyomaYes, I moved my blog again. If I remember right, this would be the second move of my blog. I started blogging intially at Google’s Blogspot, where I had a blog by the name “Pondering’s of Mahesh Bhat”. I know - crappy title. I then chose BlogCharm to be by blog host for the reason that I wanted proper tagging of all my posts. The WordPress engine that was provided then by Blogspot did not allow for categories, and it resulted in a spawn of numerous blogs that I found cumbersome to handle. BlogCharm’s blog engine did provide for categories, so that all posts would be neatly organized. So, I moved into BlogCharm with a new name, Splat. It was a pretty steady stint there, and I was able to publish many titbits (splats) of information there.
Lately, I got involved more into the world of publishing online. I even got a domain name and a web host, where I started an article site, WiseTome.com. My posting activity at the blog would vary depending on the amount of effort I spent on WiseTome or any of the personal projects that I took on myself. This november, I even got into NaNoWriMo due to which I have been busy lately, spinning a story for the novel. But as I published at Splat, a slow understanding came over me that I would better have the blog at my own host. The hosting account where I host WiseTome, could bear with the additional traffic my blog would need.
During these times, I frequented several blogs, and one of them being, Thilak’s TechBuzz. I got so invovled in the Blogsphere, at his blog, that a strong urge arose to get back into blogging. In spite of my time spent at WiseTome, several personal projects (including NaNoWriMo), I chipped in some time these last few days, to salvage all the good posts from the old (BlogCharm) host to the one here you are looking at now.
Hopefully, time would provide me with enough of it, to start writing here again.

[...] On a suggestion from Thilak on my other thread, after which I had a bit chat with him over GTalk, and I could get the Comment Subscription Plugin for WordPress.. I got it from the Plugin’s Homepage, and it was a breeze installing it. [...]
