Wise Tome - An article library
June 20th, 2006 — VyomaI have been thinking about it for quite some time to create such a site. I finally got down to actually doing it. I got hold of the domain www.WiseTome.com and also about 150 MB of hosting with PHP and MySQL support. I installed Drupal 4.7.2 and have customized it a bit, so that it looks closely to what I want it to be finally. At present, I have only one article there on World-Building and another on Photography that one of my friend gave me.
The setup of Wise Tome has taken a lot of my time and that was the reason for the absense from Splat! This does not mean the end of Splat! as the posts here are more like tit bits of information. Wise Tome would be a large repository that would hold articles on various topics and also which are more exhaustive. Also, may be, more people would be writing those articles - hence one can expect articles to belog to topics other than those in Splat!
